Women trying to conceive and get pregnant should bear this fact in mind - even without problems conceiving, it could take 6 months to a year to get pregnant. Yes, some women do get pregnant the very first time they try, and others can get pregnant within the first few months, but almost any GBYN will tell you that most couples, (up to 90%), will take from 6 to 12 months to get pregnant.
You can increase your chances to get pregnant by taking control of your life and making a plan to get pregnant. Don't rely on fate. Don't put all your trust in "modern medicine". do your own research. Women were getting pregnant long before they had the benefit of today's "modern medicine", and they were also having trouble or problems conceiving long before there was some kind of miracle pill to take.
Many people today will "pooh-pooh" the old wives tales and traditional methods passed down from mother to daughter. And they get even more cynical if you mention holistic methods or ancient traditions from other cultures. But think about it for a minute. Do you think women just started having trouble or problems conceiving after "modern medicine" started developing pills or medical procedures to cure those problems? Do you think that women of earlier times just gave up when they had trouble getting pregnant? Or maybe they had methods that worked then, and were their version of "modern medicine?
Before you commit to any risky drug treatment or medical procedure, maybe you should at least check out some of those methods from earlier times. After all, the world's population didn't stop growing, so something must have worked for those women that were having trouble or problems conceiving.
Here are some resources to help you get started with your own plan to get pregnant. You just might find a plan that will work for you and increase your chances to get pregnant.

Great article! I know some people will read it and think that some of it is obvious, but there is a difference between knowing what to do, and doing what you know! When it comes to trying to conceive, it seems it is best to do a combination of things that will help to get pregnant, rather than just concentrating on one thing. So, eating the right things, not smoking or drinking, getting exercise and making sure you are trying at the right time of the month will all help.
